Murchison Falls National Park Wildlife Safari

Day 01: Kampala to Murchison Falls National park

Your safari guide will be readily waiting for you at your hotel and after your breakfast, you will set off to Murchison Falls National park. This park is one of the most interesting destinations to visit while in Uganda, well known for its wildlife, beautiful scenery and landscape. You will have a stopover at the only home to the rhinos in the wild in Uganda (Ziwa Rhino sanctuary) for a rhino tracking experience. Here you will get closer to these rhinos, giving you a perfect opportunity for photographs.

Later on, you will have a stopover at Masindi town for lunch break and then enter Murchison falls National Park for a sunset top of the falls hiking experience to the see the violent river Nile exploding violently and forming a very powerful water fall. You will check in at Paraa Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight (Full Board)

Day 02: Game drives and Boat Cruise

murchison-top-of-the-fallsAfter having an early morning breakfast at your lodge, you will prepare for a game drive in the park in search for animals that reside here. Among the animals you should expect to meet include elephants, lions, giraffes and other different animal species.

In the afternoon, you will return to the lodge for lunch before proceeding for the bottom of the falls boat cruise where at the comfort of your boat, you will see different animal species such as the hippos, crocodiles, elephants and buffaloes at the water edges. Dinner and an overnight stay will be at Paraa Safari Lodge

Day 03: Morning game drive and transfer to Kampala

This day you will start with an early morning game drive to meet the residents as they go back to their hideouts. Explore the park to its fullest as you have an encounter with different animal and bird species. You will later on return to the lodge for breakfast and preparations for a transfer back to Kampala.
