Day 01: Arrival and transfer
On this day, you will meet your safari guide at the Airport who will thereafter transfer you to a hotel in Kampala/ Entebbe for an overnight stay
Day 02: Kampala/ Entebbe to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
After having a morning breakfast in your hotel, your safari guide will be readily present and will transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The journey which may take up to about 8hours will be comprised of several stopovers at different points for refreshing and lunch. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park houses the largest population of the world’s remaining population of the rare mountain Gorillas. As soon as you arrive into the park, you will check in at Mahogany Springs Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay (Full Board)
Day 03: Gorilla tracking at Bwindi
After morning breakfast, you will set off to the park headquarters with your well packed lunch. You will meet rangers who will separate you into different groups based on the Gorilla family you have been allocated to track; you will then follow the Gorilla trails with your ranger and start the Gorilla tracking activity. Once you have reached the Gorillas, you will have the best moment taking pictures and videos. You will return to Mahogany Springs Lodge later in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 04: Return back to Kampala city
You will start this day with an early morning breakfast and preparations for a transfer back to Kampala. You will pass via the beautiful Kigezi highlands with beautiful terraces and have a stopover at the Equator for lunch and photographs. You will then be transferred for an overnight stay at a hotel in Kampala (Full Board)
Day 05: Kampala city tour and drop off at Airport
After having breakfast at your hotel in Kampala, you will go for a city tour where you will visit the Uganda Museum, local craft villages and the Martyrs shrines at Namugongo. Later in the evening, your guide will drop you at the airport for your outbound flight.
